About Us
WilMEA/AFSCME Local 7070 represents a diverse cross-section of municipal employees at the City of Wilsonville. Our members work hard to keep the City's parks, roads, and utilities running smoothly, to provide access to books and computers to the public, and to protect the City's natural resources and plan for the future. Local 7070 works to ensure all of our members are fairly compensated for the care and effort they put into making Wilsonville a great place.
AFSCME
At the international level, our union is a member of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and, at the State level, we are one of the 172 locals that make up AFSCME Council 75. We are affiliated with the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), a national trade union center and the largest federation of unions in the United States.
